Microsoft Copilot for business guarantees that your data remains yours alone and does not leak unintentionally to others. It is advisable for companies to create AI guidelines that define which AI services can be used and what information can be entered into them.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Copilot is used to retrieve information for a user from within the company&#8217;s own documents and data, it only searches within the limits allowed by the user&#8217;s access rights. Mika emphasizes the importance of data classification and good access control management before implementing AI.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Copilot Streamlines Daily Work<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to research by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/worklab\/work-trend-index\/copilots-earliest-users-teach-us-about-generative-ai-at-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Microsoft<\/a>, users in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program reported significant productivity improvements and substantial time savings. Users felt that Copilot enhanced their work in the following ways: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>64%<\/strong> stated that Copilot reduced the time spent processing emails.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>86%<\/strong> found that Copilot made it easier to follow up on items discussed in meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>84%<\/strong> mentioned that Copilot makes it easier to take action after meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>70%<\/strong> of Copilot users felt they were more productive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>73%<\/strong> said they were able to complete tasks faster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>75%<\/strong> felt that Copilot saved time by finding necessary information in files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mika has noticed the same benefits when using Copilot. Copilot assists in daily tasks such as processing emails, summarizing meetings, and creating documents, as well as in brainstorming, strategic work, and learning new things. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFinland is a small country, and Copilot&#8217;s support for the Finnish language is currently better than Google Gemini&#8217;s. This makes Copilot particularly useful and superior in a Finnish work environment,\u201d Mika says.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, after Teams meetings, Copilot can automatically create a summary, highlight tasks assigned to the user, and emphasize important points, even if the employee did not participate in the meeting themselves. This speeds up decision-making and frees up time for more important tasks.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Integration and Implementation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Implementing Copilot has been easy, as it integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. Once Copilot is deployed, users can configure their personal settings and create user profiles that optimize the recommendations and functions provided by Copilot according to their needs.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cImplementation was easy: one click and it was in use,\u201d Mika observes. Copilot is a personal tool that works according to the user&#8217;s needs. Copilot does not use organizational data to train the open language model, but it can utilize the organization&#8217;s existing information and documents to provide answers.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When documentation is up to date, well-organized, and access rights to information are correctly distributed among different user groups, Copilot can operate effectively and securely within the company. Mika refers to this as \u201cdigital KonMari,\u201d where company documentation is kept in order and unnecessary information is deleted. This is a significant advantage when aiming to utilize the organization&#8217;s entire knowledge base effectively.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen information is well-organized, Copilot finds exactly what is needed,\u201d he explains.
